First, we have to own our complicity in the changing climate; we, as human beings have contributed to the problem. Some of the impacts of climate change will appear more severe to some than to others, depending on the part of the world you live in. Some countries have it more severe than others. Every day in the paper or on the news there is some corner in the world where there has been a hurricane or an avalanche or a flood which have taken people’s lives. Africa will suffer greatly in the drought. Coastal areas are at risk of swelling oceans and floods. The effects of climate change will be devastating to both the human race and the environment. Tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, and flash floods are all examples of extreme weather conditions that are happening all over the world due to climate change. Warmer places are getting warmer and colder places are getting colder. Educate yourself on what causes global warming, and take a walk to the corner store instead of driving your car.
